A beloved classic, Clos du Bois Chardonnay white wine is bursting with delicious flavours of warm apple pastry, touches of sweet honey and deep toasted oak. Together, bright, and refreshing layers of fresh pear, apple and zingy citrus bring the wine to life and carry through to the long and satisfying finish. As part of the Clos du Bois California Base Collection, our creamy Chardonnay wine will not disappoint. It reflects the winery’s signature style of winemaking and is characterised by its well-balanced palate, and for being true to the varietal character. The fruit is selected from vineyards spanning the Californian coast; the North Coast delivers ripe fruit characteristics, while the Central Coast imparts full, concentrated flavours and a stunning acidity to the grapes. The grapes are harvested at night and gently pressed to preserve the flavours before fermenting in a combination of stainless steel, French and American oak barrels. Enjoyable until the very end, each glass boasts a rich and creamy mouthfeel that pairs beautifully with lighter bites, charcuterie, summer appetizers and buttery dishes.
